Hajira

I have recently completed my masters degree. As someone who admires community-led knowledge creation, I was drawn to this initiative because I believe that history made by the community, for the community, is extremely valuable. Also Race relations, immigration to the United Kingdom, racialized women's experiences, and community resistance were among my scholarly interests. When interviewing, compiling, and analysing the narratives of the interviewees, I hope to pick up on these trends. I'm honoured to be a part of this initiative, and I'm looking forward to learning more about cuisine and culture history. As for my qualification I studied History at the University of Sheffield and completed my MSc in International History at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
